Rotator Systems

Rotator-rotator systems are critical equipment in heavy industry production processes that enable precise rotation of cylindrical workpieces during welding operations. These systems have the durability to handle workpieces ranging in weight from 5 tons to 150 tons.

Rotator-rotator systems have clockwise or counterclockwise rotation functions. This offers maximum precision and control during welding of cylindrical parts. Self-adjusting and conventional rotators can be produced according to the desired diameter and tonnage.

What are Rotator-Inverter Systems?

Rotator-rotator systems are the equipment used in heavy industry production that enables precise rotation of cylindrical workpieces and also facilitates welding works.

These systems are made of durable materials and handle parts ranging in weight from 5 tons to 150 tons. The system is designed for applications requiring high precision and, in particular during welding, its ability to rotate clockwise or counterclockwise allows cylindrical materials to be machined smoothly from all angles. This feature of the system both increases work safety and speeds up the production process.

Rotator systems are produced in two main types: self-adjusting and conventional. Self-adjusting systems make an automatic adjustment during the gripping of materials of different diameters and eliminate the need for manual intervention. These systems provide a great advantage especially in applications where diameter differences are common.

Conventional systems are generally used in the production of fixed diameter workpieces. In these systems, two main components, motorized and idler, work together. While the motorized part provides the rotation movement, the idler part supports the material and creates a stable structure.

Polyurethane coated wheels are generally used in rotator systems. The function of these wheels is to prevent damage to the workpiece by absorbing the vibrations and loading impacts that may occur during welding. For applications requiring heavier loads or high temperatures, steel wheels are available. The automatic adjustment of the wheels for small or large diameters increases the flexibility of the system and offers a wide range of applications. These adjustments can be made by ball screw or manual control and this feature adapts to different production needs.

Often used in integration with column-comm systems, these systems allow operators to easily manage the system with digital control panels and remote control features. These control mechanisms make it possible to produce with high precision and reduce the physical burden of the operators. In addition, safety mechanisms that control all movements of the system prevent work accidents.

These systems have a wide range of applications in different sectors of heavy industry production. They are widely used for welding pipelines in the energy sector, joining large metal plates in shipbuilding and steel construction production.

Rotator-rotator systems provide efficiency and reliability in production, while at the same time raising quality standards in welding processes. They are an indispensable part of modern production processes, helping businesses to increase their competitiveness while reducing costs.
